I Save FL Naloxone Provider

Prevention Program is designed to reduce opioid overdose deaths by providing access to FDA-approved emergency opioid antagonist to organizations that serve individuals at risk o witnessing an opioid overdose. The OPP has 2 primary goals:

Provide overdose recognition and response training to organizations and individuals who may witness or experience an opioid overdose; and

Distribute free naloxone kits to individuals at risk of experiencing an opioid overdose, as well as to friends and family members who may witness an opioid overdose.

Opioids include prescription pain medications like hydrocodone and oxycodone, as well as heroin, fentanyl, and other opioids. Opioid Overdose deaths are preventable if naloxone is administered in time.
